Brad Smith

Brad Smith, Consultant, is a trusted advisor to executives and leaders worldwide, known for his practical business knowledge, sincerity, and ability to connect and build long-lasting relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. Brad’s informed approach to tackling business and leadership issues grew out of his over thirty years of business experience in General Management, Operations and Human Resources in the telecommunications and consumer electronics industries.

His experience spans new business start-ups, business turnarounds, acquisition selection and integration, leadership development, talent management and executive coaching. Brad has extensive international and cross-cultural experience developing and leading senior leadership teams from Asia and the US. Most recently, he spent three and a half years on TE Connectivity’s executive team as Vice President and General Manager for the Asia Pacific. Prior to that, he was handpicked by the CEO to architect a suite of leadership development and talent management programs for TE Connectivity.

Broad-ranging interests led Brad to earn a BA in Philosophy from the University of Maryland, an MA in East Asian Studies from Stanford University and an MBA from Duke University.
